In the 1860s a specific shape of bonnet became popular. It was called the spoon bonnet. The conical part of the bonnet became smaller and it flared away from the face with a high front from which it gained its name.
The wine
coloured bonnet is made of velvet with paper flowers and ostrich
feathers. It has a large curtain around the back of the neck
and wine coloured ties.
This
bonnet is available on request and is an average size; the lining
adjusts to accommodate the amount of hair you need to tuck
inside! Further pictures can be sent to you on
request.
If you would like it in a different colour, with alternative decoration or in another size, one can be made to your specific requirements. Use the Contact Us in order to discuss your requirements.
