The 1840s Poke Bonnet.

Poke bonnets were very popular in the early Regency period.  Poke bonnets of that time were round on the tip of the bonnet and very conical.  Later 1840s poke bonnets were more of an oval shape at the tip and the bonnet shape flared out from that tip.

The blue bonnet is made in pure silk with paper flowers.

This bonnet is in stock and is an average size; the lining adjusts to accommodate the amount of hair you need to tuck inside!  Further pictures can be sent to you on request.

If you would like it in a different colour, with alternative decoration or in another size, one can be made to your specific requirements.  Use the Contact Us in order to discuss your requirements.

The cream with pink detail and the grey vevet bonnets have both been sold but give you an idea of how it looks in different colours.
